We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Data Engineering Senior Specialist to join our team at Nasdaq. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines using Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Python, and PySpark to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, including dimensional modeling, to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance policies and procedures.
- Supervise the design and implementation of data transformation processes and jobs for Nasdaq Finance Data platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and data lineage.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues with Nasdaq Data Platforms and related ecosystems.
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on business intelligence and data warehousing.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies, including SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or related tools.
- Experience with ETL tools, including Informatica, Data Factory, or other.
- Experience in crafting data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, is a plus.
- Azure certification is a plus.
