Sales Engineer

Drive business growth as a Sales Engineer in our dynamic foundry industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bridge technical knowledge with sales expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and market growth.
  • Identify new clients in the automotive, heavy machinery, railways, pumps, valves, and construction equipment industries.
  • Achieve sales targets by promoting foundry products and solutions.
  • Conduct market surveys to understand demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close orders.
  • Build and maintain long-term relations with OEMs, dealers, and distributors.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and coordinate with production quality teams for resolutions.
  • Understand foundry processes, moulding, melting, fettling, heat treatment, etc., to explain product applications to customers.
  • Suggest suitable grades of castings, alloys, or consumables as per client requirements.
  • Coordinate with the design technical department to provide customized solutions.
  • Work closely with production, planning, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of castings and consumables.
  • Provide market feedback to R&D for product improvements.
  • Track order status and update customers accordingly.
  • Maintain sales records, customer database, and order pipeline in ERP/CRM.
  • Submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis to management.
  • Handle documentation related to quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and dispatch.
  • Explore new markets for foundry products domestically and internationally.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry seminars.
  • Develop dealer agent networks for wider reach.
