About the Job
The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement and compliance. You will be responsible for performing vendor shop visits, reviewing supplier Engineering data and Drawings, and monitoring supplier Surveillance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vendor shop visits to assess compliance with fabrication capabilities, material requirements, scheduling, inspection, and Quality Assurance.
- Review supplier Engineering data and Drawings to ensure adherence to purchase order requirements and applicable codes.
- Monitor supplier Surveillance programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with pressure testing, in-process inspections, final inspections, and preliminary/final review of work packages.
- Develop and implement proactive approaches to mitigating supplier performance issues in collaboration with engineering, quality assurance, and construction organizations.
- Prepare reports on supply chain activities and status updates, maintaining accurate records.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 10+ years of experience are typically required.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, are also necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.
