Key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, investigating variances, approving expenses and ensuring timely billings and payments.

Additional key responsibilities include maintaining all related project accounts in the accounting system, creating and maintaining project-related records including drawdown schedules, variation orders, invoices and statements of account.

This role also involves maintaining company accounting systems and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, business plans, feasibility studies and other financial documents as required.

Effective working relationships with external auditors must be fostered and any findings or recommendations addressed promptly.

Additionally, this role involves managing and tracking company funds, assets and investments and periodically issuing reports on current and projected financial stability.

Ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided to management is also a key responsibility.
