Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Work closely with colleagues to assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Contribute to the annual audit process, including the preparation of financial statements and related notes.
  • Research and analyze expense variances for management's review.
  • Oversee accounts payable & receivable functions.
  • Provide timely financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
  • Prepare asset, liability, and equity account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information into the system.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
  • Validate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Implement accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.
  • Process payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial laws by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Protect sensitive customer information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Develop and manage budgets.
  • Perform forecasting analysis.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations.
  • Meet strict deadlines for accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Manage project-wise and product-based accounting, cash flow, and balance sheet management.
