About the PositionWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Inpatient DRG Medical Coder with in-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM and PCS Coding, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Coding and classification of patient data utilizing ICD-10-CM and PCS systems.
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices.
- Development and maintenance of coding policies and procedures to support efficient workflows.
- Analyses and reporting of coding data to inform quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in inpatient settings.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and PCS coding systems, including updates and revisions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
