**Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist**

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing inpatient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms such as Iodine and Epic to identify documentation gaps.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in CDI programs and EHR platforms, with at least 10 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concurrently review inpatient records using EHR platforms to identify documentation gaps.
  • Create compliant, patient-specific queries to address identified gaps.
  • Apply knowledge of DRG classification, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and coding guidelines to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate logs of reviews, query status, and follow-ups in designated systems.
  • Achieve productivity and quality benchmarks under the CDI program.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Expertise in CDI programs and EHR platforms.
  • Strong understanding of DRG classification, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and coding guidelines.
