Chef De Partie Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality meals and special dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Regulate oven temperatures, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking results.
  • Pull food from freezer storage and thaw it in the refrigerator to prepare for service.
  • Maintain accurate food logs to track inventory and quality control.
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of prepared food and communicate any issues to management.
  • Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage service staff to inform them of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and reach overhead and below the knees to perform tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational background in culinary arts or related field.
  • At least three years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
  • No supervisory experience required.
