Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Documentum Administrator to oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of our Documentum ECM system. This individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading various Documentum components, including Content Server, D2, Webtop, DA, and xPlore.

Responsibilities:
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and upgrade Documentum components to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to maintain peak efficiency.
  • Data Management: Create and manage Documentum repositories, workflows, users, groups, ACLs, and lifecycles, ensuring secure and organized data storage.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Documentum services, metadata, indexing, and content storage, minimizing downtime and data loss.
  • Security Integration: Manage Documentum security, integrating with LDAP/Active Directory to maintain robust access controls and permissions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience administering Documentum ECM systems, with hands-on knowledge of Content Server, D2, Webtop, DA, and xPlore indexing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Docbase architecture, ACLs, lifecycles, workflows, and repository management, as well as experience with SQL, Linux/Unix environments, and scripting (Shell, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
