Medical Transcriptionist

The primary role of a Medical Transcriptionist is to accurately transcribe dictations from healthcare professionals, ensuring that all documentation is complete and up-to-date.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe dictations with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage appointments and their corresponding documentation
  • Handle phone call inquiries regarding appointments, scan results, and blood reports
  • Familiarize yourself with BALIKA software -PCPNDT mandatory
  • Oversee the management of F Forms and their documentation
  • Dispatch daily and monthly scan statistics to the department
  • Verify the accuracy of reports with healthcare providers
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal documentation requirements
  • Perform quality improvement audits
  • Familiarize yourself with hospital information systems
  • Assist with various tasks such as greeting patients, helping with documentation, and billing processes
  • Work in a fixed shift time of 9 am to 5:30 pm
