About the Role

World Wide Technology is seeking a skilled Firewall Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working on Checkpoint Firewall evergreen upgrades, migrations, and testing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco networking skills, including troubleshooting Cisco switches and routing. Checkpoint Maestro knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Checkpoint Firewall evergreen upgrades and migrations
  • Test and validate firewall configurations
  • Develop and maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence
Work Schedule

This is a part-time role that requires work on 2-4 Saturdays per month. Time off in lieu is provided to ensure a maximum 40-hour working week.

Candidates will work from their home location but may be required to support other time zones on occasion.

Requirements
  • Experience with Checkpoint Firewall and Cisco networking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
