About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join PayU's dynamic and fast-paced growth environment. The successful candidate will be highly effective in navigating customers through the sales process, from prospect prioritization to technical integration. They will have demonstrated the ability to deliver a value-based sales proposition and accelerate the adoption of data insights and intelligence solutions across various verticals.
About the Team
You will become part of the India market team, responsible for providing PayU's payment gateway and product solutions to a broad range of organizations, including e-commerce companies, education and edtech institutions, BFSI, travel, and OTT merchants.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the interface between PayU and merchants, providing end-to-end solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on products and competition.
- Communicate PayU's value proposition and negotiate deals successfully.
- Assist the sales team in pursuing new sales and acquisition opportunities.
- Collate, organize, prioritize, and execute activities necessary to categorize and pursue sales opportunities.
- Craft presentations and collateral under the guidance of offering managers.
- Create presentations that present compelling value propositions for specific sales opportunities.
- Collect data on competitive activity and identify sales and product needs.
- Engage merchants on cross-sell opportunities.
- Assist teams in preparing RFI, RFQ, or RFP requests as needed.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition status.
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects through cold calls, referrals, research, and networking.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Preference for candidates with presales and inside sales experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
