Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Web Developer to lead our web engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in Drupal, LAMP stack, and front-end technologies.

  • Technical Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with Drupal (e.g., Drupal 7/8/9) architecture, APIs, and module development.
  • Proficiency in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with website Search technologies and solutions like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the building of scalable and maintainable solutions for our existing websites, using modular and reusable components.
  • Drive new development efforts for our component-based website systems, while ensuring proper integration with our underlying content management system.
  • Provide high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of our websites.
  • Maintain and improve overall performance of our websites, ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices.
  • Review team's designs and provide feedback on deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security.
