Job Title: Data Engineer

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources, including retail offline and online data sets. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining complex data pipelines, as well as developing and deploying machine learning models.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Google Cloud Platform, Azure Databricks, and DBT. They will also have knowledge of secure coding practices and be able to work with unstructured data.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data and have a solid understanding of data science principles. Retail industry experience is highly valued in this role.

This contract position offers a flexible and remote work arrangement, with the option for renewal after six months. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using cloud-based technologies
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data engineering

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong understanding of data science concepts and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
