Senior PHP Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with the CodeIgniter framework and a proven track record of delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications.

  • Develop, test, and maintain complex web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, testers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and propose innovative improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a senior-level PHP Developer.
  • Expertise in the CodeIgniter framework (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of PHP 7/8, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and MVC architecture.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and database schema design.
Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant certifications and training programs will also be considered.
