PHP Leadership Role

The primary objective of this position is to provide technical leadership in the development and maintenance of PHP-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PHP Development: Proven expertise in core PHP and object-oriented programming principles, ensuring the creation of high-quality, maintainable code.
  • CodeIgniter Framework: Experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework, allowing for seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Python Proficiency: Strong understanding of Python, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • JavaScript Skills: Solid knowledge of JavaScript for client-side functionality and integration with backend services, facilitating a seamless user experience.
  • Code Review and Testing: Experience performing peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices, as well as familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development, promoting teamwork and innovation.
  • API Integration and Optimization: Experience working with RESTful APIs for consuming and creating endpoints, ensuring efficient data exchange and optimal performance.
  • Performance Tuning and Documentation: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend, as well as ensuring technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
