Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Archival Specialist to join our team.

  • Key responsibilities include server administration, divestment, software management, SAP data archiving, reporting, and incident management.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Server Administration: Manage Windows file servers, including adding/removing authorization, creating new folders, monitoring server performance, and troubleshooting issues.
  2. Divestment: Extract and transfer archived data to buyers, create quality documentation on maintenance activities.
  3. Software Management: Install and configure enterprise software applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular patching and updates.
  4. SAP Data Archiving: Activate/deactivate archive information structures, run catch-up archiving for new objects, and perform sweeper operations.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular progress updates, impediments, and knowledge sharing in Agile ceremonies.
  6. Incident Management: Assess and resolve incidents and tickets within specified timeframes.
Requirements/Deliverables
  • Deliver high-quality solutions for incident and problem management during PI periods.
  • Ensure successful and error-free SAP maintenance activities according to upgrade schedules.
  • Complete assigned ADO user stories prioritized by the Product Owner.
  • Produce high-quality documentation for lessons learned, undocumented problem solutions, and new configurations.
