This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced PVT Engineer to join our team. As a PVT engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our vehicles.

About the Job

">

We are looking for a skilled PVT engineer with a strong background in vehicle production and warranty. The successful candidate will have experience in driving design issues during the launch phase, preparing fresh eyes audit decks, and providing timely resolutions and approvals for temporary deviations and in-process containments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results on complex issues in a pressurized environment and excellent problem-solving skills. You will work closely with manufacturing teams, drive projects within the UK teams, and coach employees in the use of clear and concise problem definitions and problem-solving tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Drive design issues during the launch phase and liaise with the UK PVT team to ensure robust containments, RCA, and PCA within desired timelines.">
  • Prepare fresh eyes audit decks and report out status to management.">
  • Provide timely resolutions and approvals for temporary deviations and in-process containments.">
  • Work with the UK engineering teams to identify and understand applicable engineering changes.">
  • Raise local temporary engineering deviations when required and approve temporary engineering deviations as required.">
  • Daily and periodic reviews with Operations Manager JLR Panapakkam.">

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automobile). MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.">
  • 08-12 years of Vehicle PVT & Warranty experience, 3-5 years vehicle design experience is preferred.">
  • Experience in Automotive industry specifically in vehicle assembly.">
  • Proven people management, coaching, leadership, and decision-making skills.">
  • Strong Engineering design and development experience.">
  • Fully conversant with Manufacturing Quality standards.">
  • Proven track record in delivering results on complex issues in pressurized environments.">
  • Experienced problem solver and strong advocate of 8D, DMAIC, and problem-solving techniques.">
  • Preferred work experience in vehicle integration.">
