Database Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Strategist to lead the modernization of our database systems and design future-proof databases.

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure database solutions for scalable systems.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and storage management.
  • Lead capacity planning, disaster recovery strategy, and backup/restore processes.
  • Implement security controls including encryption, access controls, and auditing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support software releases and schema changes.
  • Automate routine operations using scripting tools.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience in database administration, design, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, working knowledge of other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance analysis tools.
