Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team at Bosch Global Software Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) based on business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, testing and debugging software applications, and collaborating with other developers to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and Customization: Develop, configure, and customize Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) based on business requirements.
  • Workflow Design and Implementation: Design and implement workflows, data models, and business rules based on Opcenter R&DL data model.
  • Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Support system deployment, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
  • Integration and Data Management: Integrate Opcenter R&DL with ERP (SAP), MES (Opcenter Execution), PLM, and other enterprise systems. Develop interfaces using APIs, web services, or middleware (e.g., OPC UA, RESTful services).

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with Siemens Opcenter R&DL (LIMS) or similar LIMS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript for customization.
  • Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
