Project Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced architect to lead high-impact consultancy projects and drive innovative design and regulatory excellence.

Job Description:

As a Project Lead, you will oversee large-scale consultancy projects with full design and regulatory strategy oversight. You will also own small to mid-value projects independently, managing design, compliance, and seamless delivery.

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring architectural documentation meets client and statutory requirements. Additionally, you will chair interdisciplinary meetings, coordinate teams, set clear project goals, and manage resources to meet strict deadlines.

Technical & Quality Assurance:

You will perform thorough reviews of architectural, civil, and MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance. You will also identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).

Collaboration with internal and external MEP engineers is crucial, as you will lead coordination meetings to prevent technical clashes.

Compliance & Permit Liaison:

You will own the permit application strategy and maintain proactive communication with regulatory authorities. Interpretation and enforcement of local/national building codes, fire regulations, PESO guidelines, NBC, and municipal by-laws are essential.

Lead submission of compliance documents and manage technical responses to authority queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. A minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience leading multidisciplinary commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is required.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with MEP drawing review, coordination, and quality assurance is preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office is necessary.

A strong knowledge of building codes and standards including UDCPR, NBC, IBC, and NFPA is expected.

Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (COA) is a plus.
