Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the feasibility of new products through technical, commercial, and regulatory assessments.
- Develop business cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams, focusing on competitive landscapes, clinical requirements, and external factors impacting product valuation.
- Conduct high-level portfolio overviews, prioritizing projects based on net present value (NPV) and time-to-market considerations.
- Prepare summary recommendations for product opportunities and present to senior management for approval.
- Update portfolio information tools, reports, and databases as new information becomes available.
- Support portfolio re-prioritization initiatives for pipeline products.
- Analyze market trends, challenges, opportunities, and unmet medical needs, leading market intelligence gathering efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters in Pharmacy or Postgraduate Diploma/MBA degree.
- 6-8 years of experience in portfolio management for both formulations and APIs. R&D or IPM experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in creating pivot tables, charts, sales forecasts, NPVs, IRRs, and revenue estimates in Excel.
- Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical markets, including commercial, patents, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen.
