Community Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects, developing partnerships, and advocating for community development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project execution and ensure timely implementation aligned with project plans.
  • Track and monitor quality delivery of detailed implementation plans (DIPs).
  • Collaborate with program lead, coordinator, and internal teams to secure necessary support for project execution.
  • Encourage innovative approaches in project activities and address operational challenges promptly.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and ensure goals are met.
Develop Partnerships and Advocacy:
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at community, ward, and district levels across private, government, academic, and NGO sectors.
  • Increase project visibility among government and other stakeholders and identify opportunities to align stakeholder activities with project goals.
  • Represent the project at meetings, committees, and advocacy forums and participate in advocacy efforts at district and state levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or related field with 1+ year's experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods, fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop good relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sector.
