We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tech Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end product life cycle for SAAS software development projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Development Leads, Quality Assurance teams, and Release Management to ensure the smooth execution of all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) processes for SAAS product development, collaborating with key stakeholders including Product Managers, Development Leads, QA, and Release Management teams.
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards, while maintaining efficient resource utilization.
- Act as an Agile Scrum Master with at least 5 years of relevant experience guiding product development teams through Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensure adherence to Agile best practices for delivering high-quality software products.
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation strategies.
- Work closely with Engineering Leads and Product Managers to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed effectively.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to project timelines, ensuring timely issue resolution and contingency planning.
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts, keeping projects on track and within budget.
- Prepare and deliver detailed weekly and monthly reports to senior management, outlining project progress, key milestones, and any risks or issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project status updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A total of 10-16 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years in software development, ideally within the SAAS product development ecosystem.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, and Management.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, with experience managing projects using Scrum.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure successful on-time project delivery.
- Expertise in using Jira for project management and tracking, as well as proficiency in other project management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of SAAS and related technologies is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is mandatory, with additional certifications such as PMP or SAFe Agilist being a significant advantage
