Job Description

The Director, Placement will oversee and manage multiple departments in various locations to ensure the placement of students. The incumbent should be target driven, have connections with good corporates for campus recruitment, and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading engagement activities from pre-placement stage to placement stage by monitoring, controlling, and reporting progress.
  • Preparing students for placements and ensuring their placements in programs.
  • Maintaining industry connections with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants.
  • Versatile in networking through job portals and various technology platforms.
  • Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends.
  • Helping departments to identify internship opportunities for students.
  • Managing complete placement data and maintaining internship and placement records.
  • Providing counselling on procedures to applicants.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors' degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Desirable: Post graduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
