Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring the reliability and integrity of our cloud-based backup systems, requiring expertise in CommVault and Cloud backup administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust backup solutions using CommVault and other tools.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing backup systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential backup-related issues.
  • Develop and enforce backup policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data protection and cloud computing.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. At least 6 years of experience in CommVault and cloud backup administration.
  3. Proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems.
  4. Hands-on experience with backup software like CommVault, NetBackup, Veeam.
  5. Strong understanding of data protection concepts, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of CommVault, HPE DataStoreonce.
  • RHCE Certified Administrator.
  • Prior experience in banking domain with exposure to compliance requirements for various standards like PCI-DSS.
