Job Description

We are seeking a quality assurance specialist to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The quality assurance specialist will focus on functional and regression testing across our systems, working closely with product owners, scrum masters, and developers.

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the issue tracking system, and ensure they are resolved.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support user acceptance testing with clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing is required.

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for software as a service or enterprise platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with issue tracking tools.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
  • Defect detection rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug closure rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.
