About the Role:

We seek an experienced banking solutions architect with expertise in designing and deploying scalable, compliant systems for global financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in nCino platform configuration and Salesforce development, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with critical financial ecosystems.

This strategic role requires technical mastery, domain expertise, and consultative skills to guide clients through digital transformation.

• End-to-End Solution Architecture: Design and document detailed technical blueprints for nCino modules, ensuring robust solutions for core banking processes.
• Commercial and Retail Lending: Configure and customize loan origination workflows, including covenants, syndication, and post-origination servicing.
• Deposit Account Opening (DAO): Streamline digital onboarding processes with integrations for eSignature (DocuSign) and identity verification.
• Collateral & Portfolio Management: Customize collateral tracking, valuation, and lien perfection workflows. Build dashboards for exposure analysis and create early warning systems for loan portfolio management.
• Risk & Compliance: Automate credit scoring models by integrating with platforms like Moodys and FICO. Implement controls for regulatory frameworks such as SOX and GDPR.
• Integration Layer Leadership: Architect and lead the implementation of real-time integrations to connect nCino with a wide range of external systems.
• Core Banking Integration: Design and build integrations with systems like Fiserv, Jack Henry, and Temenos using APIs and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Third-Party Services: Integrate with credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax) and KYC/AML providers (Refinitiv, LexisNexis) to automate due diligence and credit pulls.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement robust event-driven architectures to ensure seamless data synchronization between nCino and core systems.
• Technical Governance & Optimization: Enforce nCino and Salesforce best practices for security (Shield, Field-Level Encryption), performance (bulkified triggers), and overall scalability. Lead comprehensive code reviews to mitigate risks in custom development, including Apex, LWC, or OmniScripts.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Advise Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and Chief Digital Officers (CDOs) on aligning the nCino roadmap with broader business goals. Train and mentor technical teams on Agile/SAFe methodologies for efficient, iterative delivery.

• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years as a Salesforce/nCino Technical Architect in the banking industry.
• nCino Platform: Proven, hands-on experience configuring at least four or more nCino modules, such as Commercial Lending, Deposit Account Opening, or Collateral Management.
• Salesforce: A high degree of mastery in core Salesforce development and configuration, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and the Data Model.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools like Copado or Gearset is also required.
• Integrations: Expertise in designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, ESBs, and ETL tools.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the full loan lifecycle, from underwriting to servicing and default management. Knowledge of core banking regulatory frameworks is also essential.

• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or System Architect certification.
• nCino Knowledge: nCino Advanced Professional certification.
• Advanced Concepts: Experience with nCino IQ (AI-driven underwriting).
• Industry Expertise: Familiarity with broader banking cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks in the US/EMEA regions.
