Job Title: Windchill PLM Administrator

As a Windchill PLM Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our product lifecycle management system.

You will be responsible for performing system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed, configuring and customizing Windchill according to business requirements, managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings, providing technical support and training to end-users, and monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues promptly.

Additionally, you will collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems, develop and maintain documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures, and implement best practices for data management and system security.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role

Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities is essential, as well as experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL is also required, along with familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles.

Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS and proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also essential.
