Automation is at the heart of software development. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts using cutting-edge tools like Playwright.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure seamless functionality and performance of web applications.
  • Performing functional, regression, and smoke testing to identify and document bugs and issues.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and develop targeted solutions.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to improving test coverage and overall quality.
  • Maintaining test data and environments to facilitate efficient testing and troubleshooting.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for web testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Git and CI tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
