Job Title: Team Lead - Scientific Content Specialist

 

Project Overview:

We are developing a high-impact documentary film that showcases India's achievements in space science and technology. This project requires strong narrative craft, creative execution, and attention to detail, focusing on the nation's advancements in this field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to develop day-to-day project strategies during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Support in writing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics to enrich the project's storyline.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth project execution, scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, maintaining cultural relevance and accuracy.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding to enhance storytelling approaches.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and visual storytelling to achieve a cohesive final product.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Film school student or recent graduate with a keen interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual.
