Job Title: Visual Communication Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Communication instructor to join our team and teach Mass Communication students the fundamentals of design and multimedia production.

This role requires a hands-on educator who can connect design principles with technical skills, ensuring students can conceptualize, create, and deliver professional-quality media assets across multiple formats.

  • Teach graphic design principles: color theory, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and design for different media.
  • Train students in software tools including Figma (UI/UX basics, prototyping, collaborative design), Adobe Photoshop (image editing, photo manipulation, design layouts), Adobe Illustrator (vector graphics, logos, infographics), Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, basic animations, title sequences), and Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent (video editing fundamentals).
  • Cross-Media Graphic Creation: Teach students how to design for print, digital, and broadcast media.
  • Mentor students in adapting one campaign's visual identity across all formats.
  • Project-Based Learning: Guide mini projects, supervise capstone projects, and mentor students on preparing a design portfolio showcasing multi-platform skills.
  • Auditory-Visual Integration: Train students in basic audio manipulation, integrate audio elements into multimedia campaigns, and stay updated on design and software trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Design, or Mass Communication.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional/teaching experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and audio editing tools.
