Job Overview:

The Series Content Manager oversees the development, execution, and delivery of series projects across various formats.

This role combines creative vision, strategic execution, and audience engagement to ensure series projects align with organizational objectives and resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Execute content strategies for series projects that align with target audience preferences and brand values.
  • Collaborate with external writers and directors to develop compelling, culturally relevant series scripts.
  • Work closely with marketing and analytics teams to ensure series performance aligns with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:Content Strategies Execution
  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for series projects.

Web Series Creative Development
  • Lead the development process for web series, managing individual writers and writer's rooms for in-house research-based script development.
  • Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement to ensure scripts are culturally resonant and meet high quality standards.
  • Work with writers and creative teams to develop series outlines, episode scripts, and season arcs, focusing on strong character development.
Production Oversight
  • Supervise script development and production processes, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Work closely with the production team to oversee filming, ensuring it adheres to predetermined vision and quality standards.
Team Leadership
  • Inspire and lead a team of producers, directors, and creative writing staff to produce high-quality scripts and engaging content.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Industry Networking
  • Engage with internal departments such as marketing, legal, and finance to streamline production processes.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key industry players, including talent agencies, production houses, and international partners.
User and Market Research
  • Conduct thorough audience research to understand preferences and trends that influence content development.
  • Organize pilot testing and focus groups to gather early feedback and make necessary adjustments.
Content Performance Responsibilities
  • Report regularly on series performance, providing insights and recommendations for future projects.
  • Monitor new user acquisition and consumption metrics for long-format content.
