Chief of Staff Job Description

About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to fill the position of Chief of Staff. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder, accelerating growth and development in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Projects: Lead and execute cross-functional projects in technology, artificial intelligence, product management, and marketing.
  • Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth research on markets, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Marketing & Growth: Collaborate closely with marketing teams to brainstorm, test, and optimize campaigns, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Product Development: Assist in ideation, prototyping, and execution of new product launches, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, lawyers, agencies, and other external parties.
  • Founder's Office Operations: Manage the founder's calendar, emails, meetings, travel bookings, and legal/financial paperwork, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
  • Execution & Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and ensure smooth execution of tasks, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments.
  • Leadership Preparation: Shadow the founder, learn decision-making frameworks, and gradually take ownership of strategic responsibilities, preparing for future leadership roles.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in consulting, startups, strategy, or a founder's office role.
  • Strong background or keen interest in technology, artificial intelligence, marketing, or product management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills, with a strong ability to interpret complex data.
  • High ownership, adaptability, and ability to operate in fast-paced environments, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a hunger to grow into a leadership role (potential leadership track within 2 years).
