Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Equity Research Analyst to drive strategic financial modeling and research initiatives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Build and update comprehensive financial models incorporating scenario analysis
  • Conduct DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods
  • Develop accurate assumptions and valuations with rationale
  • Screen large datasets to identify investment ideas and support portfolio managers in their investment decisions
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with senior management
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings
  • Develop pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic reports
  • Create and maintain databases
  • Analyze news and provide insights
  • Handle ad hoc research requests

Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills
  • Ability to analyze drivers and key performance indicators across various sectors
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple workflows with tight deadlines
  • Numerical abilities
  • Building complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions
  • Earnings sensitivity analysis
  • Providing own valuation views after carrying out relative, DCF-based, or industry-appropriate valuations
  • Writing skills
  • Writing in a logical and structured manner requiring minimal rework
  • Preparing bulletins and one-page summaries
  • Linking macro/industry analysis to the output
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Other tasks including collecting news, summarizing, providing analysis that adds value, and preparing charts, tables, and databases

Avoidance of technologies: Python, SQL, Power BI, etc. Good client relationship management skills and communication skills are advantageous.
