Job Overview:

  • The ideal candidate will lead the development of strategic programs, managing stakeholders and delivering value through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • With a focus on portfolio management, this role involves overseeing end-to-end lifecycle planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong leadership skills are required to drive large-scale cross-functional programs, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to scope.
  • This position also involves communicating analysis and updates to senior leadership, as well as driving process standardization, continuous improvement, and deployment of simplification initiatives.
  • A key aspect of this role is recommending new policies and procedures affecting program management, while modifying existing processes to improve program performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiating, change management, goal setting, planning, organizing, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline with software experience is required.
  • At least 18 years of overall IT experience, 10+ years of project management experience in medical devices, and hands-on experience in architecting complex dashboards using Power BI or other tools are necessary.
  • Certifications such as PMP/equivalent, CSM, SAFe/RTE or ART experience are highly desirable.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification and experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies are also valuable assets.

Requirements:

  • Well-versed in med tech products, software, R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, able to influence all customers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in architecting complex dashboards using Power BI or other tools.
  • Certifications such as PMP/equivalent, CSM, SAFe/RTE or ART experience.
