Job Overview

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex automation systems for mass production applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software, and create proper engineering part drawings using GD&T practices.
  • Develop and implement PLC programming languages including Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram for various industrial protocols.
  • Collaborate with international supply chains and contract manufacturers to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Apply expertise in PLC architecture, communication, and programming to optimize system performance.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in automation and robotics application development.
  • Expertise in CAD design, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols.
  • B.Tech/ M.Tech in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, automation, robotics or equivalent) from a premier school.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with vision systems, safety circuits, high power/ low power electronics, and sensors/detection.
  • Knowledge of API linking/Opc communication and motion control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
