Job Description

We are seeking an Asset Management Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The scope of this position is worldwide, and the successful candidate will be part of a global team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To control the quality of assets (hardware and software) and ensure they meet the required standards.
  2. To follow up on corrections and implement action plans to resolve any issues.
  3. To provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of asset management.

Key Activities:

  1. Create Service Requests in Snow to address gaps and ensure completion by suppliers.
  2. Fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies and procedures for the job role and responsibilities assigned to you during your employment with the company.
  3. Build ad-hoc reporting or extracts for internal control or audits.
  4. Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts in different tools.
  5. Use work instructions to identify errors in the asset database inventory records.
  6. Manage assets and inventory, including maintenance scheduling and repairs.
  7. Develop and execute asset management policies, procedures, and processes.
  8. Effectively manage asset lifecycles to improve quality control of assets.
  9. Apply a continuous improvement approach to enhance strategies employed in technology spending and tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  10. Ensure effective management of the CMDB and its content accuracy.
  11. Work on Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders for assets.
  12. Provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis.
