**Job Title:**

Procurement Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop a supplier network for EV components and raw materials.

2. Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.

3. Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and service requirements.

4. Maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.

5. Monitor vendor performance (quality, delivery timelines, compliance).

6. Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities as per industry standards.

7. Work closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements.

8. Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.

9. Coordinate logistics for timely deliveries from domestic and international suppliers.

10. Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.

11. Handle import/export documentation for EV parts and equipment.

12. Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.

13. Work with Quality Assurance to ensure procured items meet specifications.

14. Contribute to localization of components to reduce costs and import dependency.

**Qualifications & Skills Required:**

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA

· Experience: 2–5 years in procurement, preferably in automobile or electric vehicle industry.

· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Knowledge of EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, etc.) is preferred.

· Advance proficiency in MS-Excel

· Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
