Job Overview

The E-Learning Content Specialist crafts high-quality learning experiences on a Learning Management System. This role involves developing engaging course content, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met, and working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain courses in the Learning Management System, aligning with instructional design specifications.
  • Create, format, and organize content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents according to design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Build/edit content on a Content Management System.
  • Conduct QA and QC reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Deliver projects on time and meet high-quality benchmarks.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience with HTML, preferably with working knowledge of CSS, JS, and accessibility standards for course design.
  • Experience working on Canvas LMS and/or CMS is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
