Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Land Acquisition Specialist to spearhead our land sourcing and acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will identify and secure land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluate feasibility, engage with brokers and landowners, and facilitate the entire acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets for strategic real estate development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, landowners, developers, and internal teams.
  • Track market opportunities and upcoming transactions to ensure timely execution of deals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on land title, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal analysts to prepare comprehensive feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments.
  • Assess alignment of land parcels with our company's product design and business model.
  • Organize meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams.
  • Work with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
  • Facilitate documentation, compliance, and closure of acquisition transactions.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Strong knowledge of land acquisition processes and local development regulations.
  • A proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • An established network with key stakeholders, including brokers, landowners, and developers.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
