Job Title: Master Culinary Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced culinary professional to join our team as Master Culinary Leader. This senior role requires a minimum of 5 years experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service and at least 2 years as a Master Culinary Leader.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to direct, coach, support, supervise and evaluate kitchen staff, maintain food quality and consistency, and control production levels. They must also be proficient in completing tasks efficiently, have strong management and communication skills, and be able to work well in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising team members, preparing daily electronic requisitions, and ensuring that public health regulations are followed. A culinary school degree is required, and intermediate computer software skills are necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of immaculate recipe folders
  • Daily recipe reviews and follow-through on requests from supervisors
  • Control of production levels and recommendation of improvements
  • Preparation of daily electronic requisitions and counter-checking deliveries
  • Overseeing main sections of the kitchen, including sauce, entremetier, fish, roast, outlet CDP, tournant and cold kitchen
  • Ensuring compliance with public health regulations and HACCP programs
  • Reporting for duty at assigned times and following supervisor's instructions
