About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Python Developer to join our team at Devkraft Technologies.

As a Full Stack Python Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing both business and technical requirements for software programs, developing design solutions, and task specifications to meet those needs.

You will design and implement scalable, maintainable, well-documented, and high-quality solutions to solve customer problems/requirements. This includes writing unit tests with complete code coverage, performing dev testing to ensure minimal bug slippages to QA, and working closely with other team members, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met and work as per specification.

In addition, you will provide support for UAT activities as well as production support, including fixing any defects. You will also communicate and coordinate with other extended team members and customers around the world, and mentor new and junior team members in the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 3+ years of professional working experience in Web development using Python. You should have knowledge on relational databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra and MongoDB). A good understanding of microservices and SOA architecture and associated principles is also required.

Familiarity with software best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) is essential. Experience with Celery and Rabbit MQ, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like NodeJS, AngularJS, jQuery, and Bootstrap is preferred. Excellent knowledge of object caches such as Memcached, Redis, and ability to design, tune, and optimize SQL queries and caching strategies is also desirable.

A solid understanding of and some experience with building distributed, asynchronous task systems, and operating knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS especially EMR, EC2, S3) are also required.
