We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Sensor and Machine Vision Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on figuring out real-world problems and making ideas work in practical settings.

The role involves working on various projects that require stepping into new environments and cracking complex challenges. If you have experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision, and are comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics, this could be the perfect fit for you.

As a Sensor and Machine Vision Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures) that can withstand high temperatures and industrial environments;
  • Prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras;
  • Supporting hardware selection and integration with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts;
  • Helping with pilot deployments across customer sites in India;
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly when challenges pop up.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong problem-solving mindset, be able to communicate effectively, and be willing to get hands dirty in challenging environments.

Key skills and qualifications required for this position include:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision;
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems;
  • Ability to design and implement effective mechanical setups;
  • Proficiency in Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections;
  • Willingness to travel for deployments and work flexible hours.
