Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality across our software products.

This role involves designing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing to guarantee the reliability of our software products.
  • Conduct thorough regression, exploratory, and usability testing to identify potential issues and improve user experience.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI to streamline our development process.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, such as GDPR and ISO 27001, to maintain the highest level of security and quality.
  • Provide regular test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance our software products.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to establishing best practices within the team to foster growth and excellence.
