As the Director of EDDS Control Management, you will lead a team of high-performing professionals in ensuring control management is embedded in our day-to-day operations. Your extensive collaboration with multiple partners across various business units, functional areas, and geographies will be pivotal in driving adherence to regulatory standards and enhancing our organization's resilience.
The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years of experience in operational risk management, preferably from a globally systemically important bank. They should demonstrate excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact and obtain buy-in from senior BU/tech counterparts. Additionally, they should have expertise in process governance, a track record of establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes, and experience within the financial services industry.
Key responsibilities will include providing additional identification of risks throughout business processes and systems, facilitating risk assessment performance, leading control monitoring, and proactively communicating key operational risk trends and activities to senior management. The successful candidate will also champion risk management practices within the business, develop key risk indicators, and maintain an updated risk register.
