Partnership Tax Expertise: A Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior with expertise in partnership entities and Subchapter K reporting matters. This individual will lead the preparation and technical review of pass-through entity tax returns, working closely with our Alternative Investments and Private Equity Practice groups.

About the Job
  • Prepare and perform technical reviews of partnership entities and related state filings
  • Develop and lead associates through engagements, delegate assignments and tasks when appropriate
  • Collaborate to identify and sell opportunities among existing customers

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise
  • Review operating agreements, letters of intent, purchase agreements, and other legal documentation related to tax transactions
  • Continuously expand knowledge and application of Subchapter K reporting matters
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Direct and control concurrent assignments to successful completion
  • Mentor and role model through active participation in firm committees, departmental matters, and events
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in accounting, finance
  • Significant progress toward EA License or CPA certification
  • Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting firm experience

Working Environment:

The ideal candidate will be based in our office and may work remotely on an as-needed basis. The position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, with seasonal overtime as required. During busy season, extended hours may be necessary, not exceeding 65-70 hours per week.
