SAP Finance Control Consultant Job Description

The role of a SAP finance control consultant is to design, implement, and support SAP financial modules (FI/CO) to optimize business processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Design and implement SAP FI/CO solutions to meet business requirements
  • Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Controlling (CO), Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing
  • Develop functional specifications and support technical teams in development
  • Participate in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a SAP finance control consultant, you will need:

  • Proven experience with SAP FI/CO implementation and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, controlling, profit center accounting, and product costing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
