We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to refine their expertise while gaining exposure to product management decisions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build integrations, troubleshoot live issues, read API documentation, and contribute to system infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in Java, and be comfortable interpreting API documentation. Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create efficient Java code and develop scalable backend components
  • Analyze external API documentation to facilitate new integration builds
  • Debug production issues by examining logs and participating in on-call rotations
  • Test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools
  • Participate in on-call debugging sessions with customers to resolve real-time issues
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into technical tasks
  • Contribute to technical analysis, design discussions, and roadmap planning
  • Develop robust APIs to support integrations
  • Promote automated testing and CI/CD practices
