We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer/Architect to join our team at o9 Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying our advanced business planning platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable supply chain solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain complex algorithms for supply chain optimization and forecasting.
- Lead the development of core modules that support S&OP, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and logistics management.
- Apply advanced knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and AI techniques to solve supply chain challenges.
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with data scientists to integrate AI models into supply chain workflows.
- Lead agile software development efforts and ensure best practices in test-driven development.
- Ensure the development process follows the Six Sigma quality framework by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead development teams in software design patterns and best coding practices.
- Review and contribute to architectural decisions to improve overall platform performance and stability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure high code quality.
- Continuously improve system architecture to handle increasing data volumes and business complexity.
- Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and apply them to optimize the platform, particularly around Big Data, AI, and analytics.
- Create and maintain technical documentation that explains the functionality of various modules, algorithms, and systems.
- Provide ongoing support to QA teams by clarifying feature functionality and ensuring smooth product testing.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in C++, C#, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- In-depth knowledge of S&OP, inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization.
- Strong understanding of how to apply algorithms to solve supply chain challenges.
- Familiarity with large-scale database management for SCM systems.
- Exposure to AI techniques, big data platforms, and data analytics is highly desirable.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in enterprise software development, specifically within supply chain management solutions.
- Proven experience developing S&OP applications and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective supply chain solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring developers and leading development teams in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Masters Degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Certifications in supply chain management, AI, or Six Sigma would be an advantage.
